Abstract
⺠Atmospheric aerosols are important aspects of climate research. ⺠The present study deals with the Sun/Sky radiometer measurements over the urban region of Hyderabad, India. ⺠AOD showed higher values on certain Julian days coinciding with the occurrence of wintertime dust storm events and biomass burning. ⺠Comparison of MODIS AOD with skyradiometer measurements showed reasonably good correlation over urban region of Hyderabad.
