Abstract
âºThe panchromatic and multispectral scenes of SPOT5 are acquired with a time lag. âºThere are different positions of the CCDs in the focal plane of the instrument. âºWe use the temporal lag to measure the ocean surface velocity field. âºWe compare and discuss the results against a swell propagation model. âºThe method is proven reliable and can be extended to other push-broom sensors.
