Abstract
⺠Effects of global change on hydrological process were elevated in China by IBIS. ⺠Climate change exerted positive effects on runoff except in the southernmost regions. ⺠Elevated CO2 concentrations exerted positive effects on runoff at the national scale. ⺠LAI compensation effect dominates runoff in arid inland region. ⺠Stomatal closure effect dominates runoff in southern moist regions.
