Abstract
⺠Colloids were found to be mobile even in the extremely saline brines. ⺠30% of the colloids were found to be transported through 30-cm long columns. ⺠Breakthrough curves exhibited a bimodal shape that was successfully modeled. ⺠The breakthrough curve bimodal nature suggests different rates of attachment. ⺠This model provided confirmation of accelerated attachment in high salinity.
