Abstract
⺠Bubble formation, morphology, and mobility are characterized in CO2 exsolution. ⺠Strong influence of pore-geometry is found on bubble growth and evolution. ⺠Snap-off contributes to the transport of the dispersed exsolved gas phase. ⺠Critical gas saturation is defined by the pervasion of snap-off events. ⺠Low water and gas mobility in exsolution is explained by dispersed gas formation.
