Abstract
⺠A well-balanced numerical scheme on quadtree cut cell grids is presented. ⺠The presented scheme is implemented on Gerris Flow Solver. ⺠The conventional gradient calculation method for cut cells is modified. ⺠The model results preserve the lake-at-rest condition in case of irregular bathymetry. ⺠The suggested gradient calculation increases the numerical accuracy in cut cells.
