Abstract
⺠We present a numerical solver for long term sand wave growth and dynamics. ⺠With the new numerical approach the limitation on the domain size is lifted. ⺠Results show that small initial random disturbances can cause sand wave field variation. ⺠The solver shows comparable qualitative behaviour with field data. ⺠The model is promising as a tool to investigate the effect of physical processes.
