Abstract
⺠We describe mesoscale structures that defines the Bransfield Current System.⺠Observations/laboratory experiment shows that the Bransfield Current behaves as gravity current. ⺠A system of anticyclonic eddies no previously observed is reported. ⺠We describe a tongue of Circumpolar Deep Water along South Shetlands Islands Slope. ⺠A new circulation scheme for the Central Basin of the Bransfield Strait is proposed.
