Abstract
												⺠Submesoscale biogeochemical patterns were studied in the Gibraltar Strait area. ⺠During spring tides: strong, intermittent mixing and coastal suction. ⺠During neap tides: NACW is the main nutrient's input to Alboran Sea. ⺠Suction of coastal waters were also observed for the first time during neap tides.
