Abstract
⺠The reproductive biology of red cod was examined. ⺠Red cod spawn to the south of West Falkland between August and October. ⺠The greatest spawning activity occurred in early evening. ⺠Fecundity increased with increasing fish length. ⺠Red cod releases small batches of eggs over the spawning period.
