Abstract
⺠The daily sea level for the Black Sea is predicted with artificial networks (ANN). ⺠Five ANN architectures and conventional methods are compared for sea level forecast. ⺠The ANNs capable to provide accurate predictions with an absolute error of 0.06 m. ⺠Results demonstrated the effectiveness of ANNs for tide gauge data analysis. ⺠ANN may be considered as an alternative method to the classical harmonic analysis.
