Abstract
âºHPLC pigment analysis from the Bay of Bengal. âºProkaryotes dominated in oceanic settings, flagellates at near coastal regions. âºRainfall influence was reflected in changes in pigment patterns. âºPigment index was not significantly related with dinoflagellate abundance. âºSimultaneous pigment and microscopic analyses are suggested.
