Abstract
⺠We tested the efficacy of new biocides for water treatment against an alien bivalve. ⺠We tested the environmental compatibility of the biocides with Artemia salina according to National Regulation. ⺠Biocides were tested on alternative crustaceans. ⺠Different biocides discharge threshold limits derived from tests results were compared.
