Abstract
⺠Eutrophication led to the disappearance of Z. noltii in the early 1990s. ⺠Highest H. ulvae abundance, biomass and production during the macroalgal bloom. ⺠A decade after restoration measures, Zostera noltii recolonized the sandflat area. ⺠Hydrobia ulvae abundance, biomass and production increased, since Z. noltii reappeared. ⺠Large size H. ulvae individuals increased, becoming the population more structured.
