Abstract
⺠Fish larvae were exposed to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons containing 3-5 rings. ⺠Larval rate of dorsal curvature and pericardial and yolk sac edema increased. ⺠Larval Na+/K+-ATPase and Ca2+-ATPase activity were significantly inhibited. ⺠Rate of the defects significantly correlates with the inhibition of the activity.
