Abstract
► Shallow water model of deep cross-equatorial currents with complete Coriolis force. ► We obtain steady two-dimensional solutions in idealised cross-equatorial channels. ► The current traverses the channel as it crosses the equator. ► The complete Coriolis force accounts for 10-30% of the cross-equatorial flow.
