Abstract
⺠We study the meridional N2O distribution along the central Chilean coast. ⺠Topography and freshwater contribution determine the surface N2O concentrations. ⺠Increasing width of continental shelf increases the surface N2O. ⺠Increasing freshwater contribution from the continent decreases the surface N2O. ⺠Thickness of the Oxygen Minimum Zone has an influence over the surface N2O.
