Abstract
⺠Soil surface crusts have negative effects on hydrological properties of soils. ⺠Infiltration may be reduced up to 7 times. ⺠Spectra of soil crusts and soil differ in albedo and in 2200nm absorption. ⺠Airborne spectroscopic images are used to map the abundance of soil crusts.
