Abstract
⺠We investigated effects of DPAA on anaerobic soil microbial community structures. ⺠PCR-DGGE targeting bacterial and archaeal 16S rRNA genes was performed. ⺠A few bacterial DGGE bands on the DGGE gels disappeared or became weaker due to DPAA. ⺠Addition of DPAA had no significant effect on archaeal communities. ⺠Overall anaerobic microbial community structures were stable regardless of DPAA.
