Soil texture mapping over low relief areas using land surface feedback dynamic patterns extracted from MODIS

► We derive environmental covariates from land surface dynamic feedbacks to a rainfall. ► We examine the use of the covariates for soil texture mapping in low relief areas. ► The covariates can be used to differentiate patterns of soil texture over such areas. ► The proposed approach to soil texture mapping is effective for areas with low relief.
