Abstract
⺠Acetic acid fate in soil solutions was measured using stable 13C as a tracer. ⺠The amount of 13C-labeled acetic acid decreased with time. Less than 3% of inorganic carbon from acetic acid remained in the soil solution. ⺠Carbon from acetic acid would not be retained in soil solutions for 48 h.
