Abstract
⺠Soil fabric, aggregate stability, and color from 75 samples. ⺠Aggregate stability is related to soil redness, darkness, and chromaticity. ⺠40% of variability in stability cannot be statistically explained by color. ⺠Color indicates aggregate stability caused by surface binding-agents. ⺠Color cannot detect stability caused by inner particle arrangements.
