Abstract
⺠We demonstrated the utility of an INS system for soil analysis in mixed soil types. ⺠A single calibration line was created that included analysis from mixed fields. ⺠INS with a single measurement (scan) can average carbon level over transect. ⺠Data with better statistics is required for improved conversion of INS readings to conventional units. ⺠Advanced quantitative spectral analysis would improve the results from the INS system.
