Castelnuovo–Mumford regularity of projected Roth varieties

We work over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. The purpose of this paper is to study the Castelnuovo–Mumford regularity of projected Roth varieties, which are divisors of rational scrolls of certain types. These varieties appear, as an exceptional case, in the study of finding whether a projective variety is defined by equations of the expected low degree.
