Abstract
We show that special Jordan systems J which are free of torsion over a scalar ring imbed in primitive (hence strongly prime) Jordan systems J˜=J⊕Heart(J˜) with simple primitive heart. We show examples of exceptional Jordan systems which cannot be imbedded in a nondegenerate system.
