Canonical basis, KLR algebras and parity sheaves

We give a construction of a basis of the positive part f of the Drinfeld–Jimbo quantum enveloping algebra associated with a Dynkin quiver in terms of parity sheaves over fields in any characteristic, and we categorify both the multiplication and the comultiplication of f via complexes of sheaves.
