Abstract
A Fitting class F is called dominant in the class of all finite soluble groups S if F⊆S and for every group G∈S any two F-maximal subgroups of G containing the F-radical GF of G are conjugate in G. In this paper a characterization of dominant local Fitting classes in the class of all finite soluble groups is established.
