Abstract
Let k be a perfect field and G be a k-split simply connected semisimple algebraic group. Denote the second unramified Milnor K-theory sheaf (in the Nisnevich topology). We prove in this article that the first Suslin (singular) homology sheaf of the variety G is isomorphic to the direct sum , where d is the number of irreducible components of the root system of G.
