Abstract
We point out an error in D'Anna (2006) [1] and then obtain a partial patch of an application of that errant result. Specifically, we show that if R is a local, Cohen–Macaulay ring with dim(R)=1, then R⋈I Gorenstein implies that I is a regular ideal of R.
