Abstract
The H-spectral radius and Z-spectral radius of a uniform hypergraph are the H-spectral radius and the Z-spectral radius of its adjacency tensor, respectively. We give upper bounds for the H-spectral radius and Z-spectral radius of uniform hypergraphs in terms of parameters such as number of vertices, number of edges, maximum degree, and minimum degree, and characterize the extremal hypergraphs. Some classical results on the spectral radius of an ordinary graph are generalized.
