Center of Schrödinger algebra and annihilators of Verma modules for Schrödinger algebra

Let C be the center of the Schrödinger algebra S(1). We prove that the center of the universal enveloping algebra U(S(1)) is U(C). We also characterize the annihilators of the irreducible Verma modules of S(1).
