Abstract
Dirac operators on Lie algebroids are defined and investigated. The Lie algebroid is equipped with a structure of a Clifford module. The quadratic form generating the Clifford algebra structure need not to be nondegenerated. Weitzenböck type formulas for the square of the Dirac operators are derived.
