On the asymptotics of polynomial interpolation to |x|α|x|α at the Chebyshev nodes

In this paper, we discuss asymptotic relations for the approximation of |x|α,α>0|x|α,α>0 in L∞[−1,1]L∞[−1,1] by Lagrange interpolation polynomials based on the zeros of the Chebyshev polynomials of first kind.
