The rotation number of the linear Schrödinger equation with discontinuous almost periodic potentials

Abstract
In this paper we study a linear Schrödinger equation with a Stepanov almost periodic potential, where the potential is discontinuous from R to R. We first show the existence of rotation numbers for the equation. We then give the optimal estimate of rotation numbers.
