Abstract
Diffusion of a penetrant liquid in a polymer does not satisfy Fick's law but requires viscoelastic mechanisms for its description. We study the system of differential equations for such a diffusion in the presence of convection. We construct weak solutions to the initial–boundary value problem for this system in a bounded domain.
