Abstract

In this paper we focus on the initial–boundary value problem of the 2-D isentropic Euler equations with damping. We prove the global-in-time existence of classical solution to the initial–boundary value problem for small smooth initial data by the method of local existence of solution combined with a priori energy estimates, where the appropriate boundary condition plays an important role.
