Discreteness of spectrum criteria for Schrödinger operators with non-negative polynomial or homogeneous potentials

We consider Schrödinger operators −Δ+V (defined in L2(Rn)) with non-negative potentials V which are either polynomials or homogeneous functions. We provide new yet simple necessary and sufficient conditions for the discreteness of spectrum of such Schrödinger operators.
