Abstract
This paper is concerned with the asymptotic spreading of a Lotka–Volterra predator–prey system with self-limit effect, in which the intrinsic growth rates of both species are positive. The spreading speeds of both species are estimated, which implies the role of nonlinearities in asymptotic spreading. Biologically, our results confirm that the prey may contribute to the asymptotic spreading of the predator.
