Abstract
We show that a Lie isomorphism ψ between nest algebras on Banach spaces can be decomposed as ψ=ϕ+τ, where ϕ is an (algebraic) isomorphism or a negative of an (algebraic) anti-isomorphism, and τ is a linear map with image in the center vanishing on each commutator.
