Abstract
Using minimax methods we study the existence and multiplicity of solitary wave solutions for a class of elliptic systems involving nonlinear Schrödinger equations with critical or supercritical growth and sign-changing potentials. The solutions are obtained by proving a priori estimates for solutions of a suitable auxiliary system.
