Abstract
The existence of proper terms that have homogeneous Zeilberger recurrences with telescoping operators of arbitrarily large order is proved. The correctness of Zeilberger's algorithm in the homogeneous case is proved. An extension of the algorithm for computing such recurrences more efficiently is proposed.
