Abstract
In this paper, we consider the stability of discrete-time neural networks with time-varying delays. A new discrete-time Halanay-type inequality is presented, based on which, we derive sufficient conditions for the globally asymptotic and exponential stability of discrete-time delayed neural networks. Two kinds of neural networks, without and with impulsive effects are investigated. Numerical examples and simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.
