Abstract
In the present article we introduce a general sequence of summation–integral operators. The special cases of which are the well known Phillips and the Szász–Beta operators. Here we consider the linear combinations of Szász–Beta operators and establish a Voronovskaja-type theorem and a direct result in terms of higher order modulus of continuity.
