Abstract
Koken et al. (Positive integer powers for one type of odd order circulant matrices, Appl. Math. Comput. 217 (2011) 4377–4381) proposed the general expression of the qth power for one type of odd order circulant matrices. In this paper, we give another method to computing arbitrary positive integer powers for arbitrary order circulant matrices, it is shown that this method is simpler than Koken’s method.
