Abstract
A new Nyström-type method is proposed in the paper to solve linear Fredholm integral equations of the second kind. Convergence and error analysis of the numerical solution are made. A practical and simple algorithm is given to obtain the approximation solution. A numerical example is given to verify the proposed method and compare with the known existing ones.
