Abstract
⺠We model a non-fatal infectious disease which does not yield immunity. ⺠We provide the global classification of the phase portraits of a SIS model. ⺠Poincaré compactification is used to draw the phase portraits. ⺠We prove that a SIS model has only two different global phase portraits.
