Abstract
The extended G′G-expansion method is introduced to construct more general exact traveling wave solutions to the KdV and Burgers equations with any order nonlinear terms. The traveling wave solutions are expressed by the hyperbolic functions, the trigonometric functions and the rational functions. When the parameters take up special values, new solitary, periodic and complex solutions are also derived from the traveling wave solutions.
