Abstract

This paper is concerned with the mixed type multi-point boundary value problem[ϕ(x′(t))]′=-f(t,x(t),x′(t)),t∈(0,1),x(0)-αx′(0)=λ1,x(1)-∑i=1mβix(ξi)=λ2.New sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of at least three positive solutions of above mentioned BVP are established. An example is presented to illustrate the main result. It is the purpose of this paper to show that the approach to get positive solutions of BVPs by using multi-fixed-point theorems can be extended to treat this more general problem.
