Dual basis functions for the NS-power basis and their applications

Considering the outstanding properties of the NS-power basis which was given by Sánchez-Reyes in 1997, the dual basis functions for the NS-power basis are presented in this paper. Marsden identity and the transformation formulae from Bézier curves, uniform B-spline curves to NS-power curves are also given. These results are useful for the applications of NS-power curves and their popularization in Computer Aided Geometric Design.
