Abstract
In this paper, we present a decoupled T–ψT–ψ scheme for solving eddy-current problems by means of finite element approximation based on ungauged electrical vector potential T . We give the convergence analysis and error estimates in finite time T0T0. And it is verified that provided the time-stepsize ττ is sufficiently small, the proposed algorithm yields for finite time T0T0 an error of O(h2+τ2) in the L2L2-norm for the electric field E=ρ∇×TE=ρ∇×T, where h is the mesh size.
